For selected homes, Super Multi NX can reduce outdoor-unit clutter while providing independent indoor-unit control. We design the combination around room loads, pipe routes and Daikin’s current compatibility limits.
5.2, 6.8, 8.0 and 10.0 kW outdoor capacities
Daikin currently lists four Super Multi NX outdoor capacities. Up to five compatible indoor units can be connected, depending on the selected combination and design limits.

Room loads
Each indoor unit is selected around the room rather than using one nominal size everywhere.
Combination ratio
Connected indoor capacity and simultaneous demand must stay within approved combinations.
Pipe lengths
Total length, vertical separation and branch routing affect compatibility and installation cost.
Outdoor airflow
Clearance and discharge-air recirculation are checked before choosing the final location.
Electrical supply
Circuit and switchboard requirements are confirmed during the site assessment.
Future service access
Equipment, branch points and isolators are positioned so the system remains maintainable.
